Greg--how often do you have bowel routine?? in my early stages as a quad, myself and some others had those problems when they had us trying every day or every other day------the nurses in st. louis told us that many quads have better resullts going every 3 days or so--the doctors here agreed,.......so we started doing bowel routine twice a week--worked out great for us !!! been on this schedule over 13 years now-- spinal docs told us that going every 3 days or so will not cause any problems ( some think that a person must go every day ) but this is not true,,, a quads body function slows down for many people---some may need to go more often but many do not. I'm not sure if this is related to your problem but just a suggestion..... good luck----- Danny H. here in snow covered st. louis, missouri area.

It is all about diet and if you keep changing your diet, you might continue to experience issues. Have you considered performing a good clean, using Easy Go to clean out the upper bowel. This way you can begin to train your bowel to go each day or night at the same time... usually after a meal. Make sure that your Primary Doctor is aware of your issue as something like this is so important and a lazy bowel could happen. Best Wishes In a message dated 1/10/2011 6:51:29 P.M.
