I really agree with you about a busy day, and the older I get the more I realize I don’t need 8 or 9 hours of sleep. It took me awhile to realize that I did not need that much sleep before I broke my neck so why would I need it now? I used to take a book to bed to read, and if I woke up in the middle of the night I would pick it up to read for awhile. Since I can’t do that now I will use my ECU to turn on the TV and find the boring program that acts like a sleeping aid. But summertime I usually sleep really well because I’m outside from 9 to 7 if possible.

Don't forget an active day. If I'm up and busy all day--especially if I'm outdoors--I sleep like a baby. At bedtime be sure your room is dark and turn off the tvs and computers! Don. Some rehab hospitals use Halcyon on a limited bases for their patients. Perhaps a fresh Turkey Sandwich and a couple bananas would do the same in promoting a restful and productive natural sleep.
