I really agree with you about a busy day, and the older I get the more I
realize I don’t need 8 or 9 hours of sleep. It took me awhile to realize that
I did not need that much sleep before I broke my neck so why would I need it
now? I used to take a book to bed to read, and if I woke up in the middle of
the night I would pick it up to read for awhile. Since I can’t do that now I
will use my ECU to turn on the TV and find the boring program that acts like a
sleeping aid. But summertime I usually sleep really well because I’m outside
from 9 to 7 if possible.

Don't forget an active day. If I'm up and busy all day--especially if I'm
outdoors--I sleep like a baby. At bedtime be sure your room is dark and turn
off the tvs and computers!

The use of sleeping aids usually means sleep disorder of some kind and sleep
aids may have both short term and long term effects. Some rehab hospitals use
Halcyon on a limited bases for their patients. Perhaps a fresh Turkey Sandwich
and a couple bananas would do the same in promoting a restful and productive
natural sleep.

Best Wishes
