I have a conversion Honda Element by Freedom Motors, but I live in Phoenix, so
can't talk much about snow.  I did drive my Element in snow and cold several
times in northern AZ and other areas and it worked fine, but I cannot comment
on extended periods of cold, ice and snow.

I LOVE my Element, but there are definite pros and cons for every vehicle.  The
vehicle is reliable, sporty and has lots of headroom.  The cons include:  small
gas tank, tight space inside to manuever, and limited seating for passengers.
Let me know if you have any other questions I can help with.

Don.

I would call Freedom Motors directly and determine what the manufacturer will
stand behind.  They are located in Michigan, in the snow belt so I'm sure they
will offer you a positive and timely response.  They might also have some good
tips too.

Best Wishes
