Be sure to take your temperature to see if you have a fever. Before my accident, my temperature was very consistently 98.6°. Today, most days, it is several degrees below that. If my temperature is 98.6° today, I know I have some sort of a problem.
I have really enjoyed using a snuggie. It helps me get warm when I am in a wheelchair, and I can use it as an extra blanket in bed. My church bought me a cloak for cold weather.
