The cold sweats are caused by dysreflexia which is often triggered by bladder 
spasms. I suffered from them for years and it was miserable. The answer is 
ditropan. It eases the spasms and stops the sweating. For me it is a miracle 
drug. Talk to your doc about it. It is certainly worth a try.

Be sure to take your temperature to see if you have a fever. Before my 
accident, my temperature was very consistently 98.6°. Today, most days, it is 
several degrees below that. If my temperature is 98.6° today, I know I have 
some sort of a problem.
 
I have really enjoyed using a snuggie. It helps me get warm when I am in a 
wheelchair, and I can use it as an extra blanket in bed.
