When I am on my back, I just lay flat on it. I have feeling and it's pretty comfortable.
I have night nurses, being on a ventilator, so they turn me on my side part of the night with pillows against my back and between my legs and feet.

I take  Baclofen 20 mg – x4 daily & p; Dantrium 25 mg - x3 daily

I use a hospital bed (raise/lower height and head of bed raise/lower) with a SILICORE Bed Pad on top of the bed mattress.
