Sorry this is late, but I haven't been on the web much lately.

The mattress I use would not work well with somebody is trying to do their
own transfers.

As for spasm medication: I take 20 mg of baclofen four times a day,
dantrolene (spelling) 25 mg three times a day and diazepam 5 mg once a
day.  I used to take a lot more diazepam, but I was able to reduce the
amount significantly over a year and a half period by aggressively ranging
out my Achilles tendon area and my upper legs.

I've been on this dose for about four or five years now and it seems to
work well for me.  I'm not too drowsy, but I do have enough spasticity to
keep my muscles exercise without throwing me into a wall.
