Bobbie, have you met Nan? I knew here years ago as Naughty Nan. She was
out your way. She is a great reference for you, as I have learned.
Best Wishes

Hi All,
I've been dealing with this C-4,5,6,7 quad life for almost 39 years and "…
I thought all I'm going to have to deal with is not being able to walk"
I've come to realize ~ that's the easy part. I also thought I was never
going to be dating but I met my first boyfriend in ICU and only stopped dating
9 years later when I met my husband in a bar.
I've gone through insane mussel spasms, sweating day and night (including
winters) for 15 years, bed sores, surgery, urological procedures (that I no
longer do) illiostomy surgery, bed sore surgery, ryzodomy surgery, bed
sore surgery, depression, syrnix, in bed for 9 months because of bed sores,
breaking my leg while dancing, depression. I can't help but think
"What's next as my quad body ages"?
I sooooooooo realize things could be worse, but is THAT a comfort?
Bobbie
