As suggested another, you only know of the presents, and not the count.
The count is most important. Your primary doctor can provide that info.

Sometimes, with your doctor's approval, the IV can be done at home with a
visiting nurse. Ask, you might be surprised. (i hope)

Has anyone had to use Meropenem by IV? What side effects did you have and
were you admitted into the hospital or did home health do it.
I have 3 different bacteria, I’m not symptomatic other than my leg bag is
blue. Last time it was blue I took macrobid, then bactrim, then cipro and
macrobid and this was almost a year ago.
I DON’T want to do IV antiobiotics because I’m afraid it will give me
diarrhea and I don’t feel sick (but don’t want to feel sick either). And I
refuse to go be in the hospital for 5 days where they can’t do my care!
Suggestions, experiences or opinions please
Nicki
