Hi Greg , I'm so sorry to hear about the experience of your grandmother. I encourage everybody to write about the new labor laws that drastically affect people on self-directed care. It will cut The Number of Hours a Caregiver Can Work. Caregivers have to work extra hours, because Of the Difficulty of finding people who will work for the hourly rate paid for the caregivers on state programs. States Do Not have the money to pay time and a half. This is Really an important issue To contact your legislators about. These laws have been waived in the past reguarding consumer directed care programs. Does this affect their anyone else on the Quad-list? Dana
