I really wish I could get my bowel program down to an hour and a half like
it was when I was a new injury. Unfortunately I am now stuck with three
hour to four hour bowel care every other night. Most of the fecal matter is
evacuated in about two hours, but we often spend another hour and a half to
two hours waiting on the mucus to come down.

It's a significant amount of mucus and if I tried to wait until the next
morning to check for it, it creates a pretty bad mess. Not to mention the
fact that it is terribly uncomfortable for me.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Oh yeah, I do my bowel regimen in bed because of my high level of injury
does not allow me to sit comfortably in a shower chair in order to do the
procedure.

Thanks,
Quadius
