Quad living is so, so much "What if this and "What if that" that one has to
plan on those things occurring. Who thought they'd wind up in a 'chair from a
broken neck-hell, that was never part of life's equation. I go thru the many
what if's alot and hopefully develop a mental plan. For example, I was
diagnosed with brain cancer (wouldn't ya' know!)two plus years ago-the dr.'s
gave me a year to year and a half
to live so my what if's are the last few months that i have to live. so do some
planning and thinking about 'what ifs' cuz the luck we quads have ain't so good.

Well my dad just had his third heart surgery in 15 years and they added more
stents again. He was in the hospital and I was home alone. Im able to get in
and out of bed and make basic microwave meals and sandwiches, so I can survive
short of a large bowell accident or falling out of the chair. It made me think
..........what the hell am I going to do in the future? I came to the
conclusion if I try everyday and accomplish a little bit, by the time that day
comes I can be a whole lot more prepared to do or hire all the things Im going
to need. All we really have in life is the here and now, the past is gone and
the future isn't guaranteed. The winners in life are the ones that can enjoy
the minute they are in.
