It has been an absolutely beautiful day here in old Kaintuck. Deep blue skies, light breeze, puffy white clouds. A hint of fall in the air. The days are already half an hour shorter, and the shadows have become long and dark. The high was about 80 with low humidity. I revel in the beauty of such perfect days yet am saddened by the passing of another summer. Time keeps on slippin' slippin' slippin' into the future! What is so rare as a day in June....then if ever come perfect days....yet brief as a candle flame that shares its tiny warmth and then gives way to darkness. Oh my, just thinking about cold weather makes me melancholy. Ok, I'll shut up now. Have a good night, peeps. Didn't mean to be a gasbag.
