Just got notified that my echo will be here on Thursday. I also ordered two TP-link plugs for $30.00 each that work directly with echo without a hub required.
Also, going through that enormously long list I noticed that OverSeer now works with echo. I have contacted them to see what we can do with what I have and see how much home automation I can get. I have built in X-10 plugs and switches in my home and I am hoping that I will be able to utilize them. Ill let you guys know what happens.
