My dealer was just back last week to look at the wire that plugs into my
joystick.
My arm rest post is directly behind the wire causing the wire to bend. I
asked for an 90 degree elbow or 45 degree elbow to avoid the post. They
do not make such a piece. so, replace the joystick when wire breaks is
the solution.
WHAT A MONEY MAKING DESIGN!
sure wish I could make the CEO's of all the companys involved in getting
us wheelchairs to have to lay in bed or sit in wooden chair for the
length of time they expect us to while waiting on wheelchair repairs.
of course my dealer is not as bad as some of the stories posted on here
AND I surely do not want to jinx my ass.......

Thanks Derrick! I just replaced the joystick last summer but I think
that wherever the cable from my joystick plugs in might be loose since
locking in my EZ Lock seems to trigger it….Friday can’t get here soon
enough.

Sounds like loose wire from battery to joystick.
I just had my joystick replaced because it would show yellow and stop
moving. i'd turn it off & back on -then it would work again.
There was a short in the wire in to Invacare joystick. They replaced
the joystick after several other attempts to fix.

I have an Action Arrow Storm with a MK6I joystick. Over the past
several weeks my chair is doing the following:
sometimes when I lock in my EZ Lock the green line that says
Driving will turn yellow and say “Low Battery” and won’t go until
I turn it off/on then it will go……I have new batteries that are
fully charged. The screen also appears to go dim and bright. It
also will do it sometimes going over door thresholds
after this happened a few times it quit while backing up the ramp
into my van. Got same message several times so I finally turned
around and went forward (that didn’t work though today, wouldn’t
go forward or backward)
It also will just quit moving and say Stopping on the green line
and says Release JS – I’ll lose a bar or 2 bars then had full
battery when I turned chair off/on
A few times the screen turns red when hitting a bump and says
batteries have no charge – chair won’t move, turn off/on and it
goes, batteries show fully charged
Now it has started occasionally only going a few inches,
especially on any incline, some days it does fine.
I had my brother check battery connections and he said they were
tight, checked bolt on my chair for EZ Lock and it’s not loose,
released motor locks and pulled them back up.
Even unplugged wires going into motors and plugged them back in
Any suggestions what else to check? I think it has to have
something to do w/ battery connections somewhere but they can’t
come until Friday to check it (been waiting for 3 weeks)
Hoping one of you has had the same experience J
My dearest friends daughter’s wedding is tonight and I can’t go
because my chair is messing up
