Do you have the footrest that is more like a platform and is solid? I eat out a lot and need my footrests to have space between them to straddle the post if a table has single post, that is Definitely a must for me. So far I am very happy with this new chair except my legs are so long that I don't have very much clearance from the floor...so I have to recline back a few inches when going over ramps, thresholds or outside, I'm now used to that but most people would not have this problem probably. I love the Electronics...they have a quick change button that can switch from tilt/leg lift or back into drive and then 4 speeds of drive, this chair is fast goes 7.5 mph. It even has a built in clock and how many miles you drive....Since I got it in February I have put 91.3 miles on it. The tires are extremely good and show zero wear so far.....( my invacare tires would be at least a quarter of the way worn out already) so these must be very well made. I now have my last chair going as a back up but my old back up chair I am giving away if anyone wants it or needs parts....It works and has the charger with it but has set so long It would need the batteries replaced...It is also and invacare storm rear wheel drive chair with tilt and leg lift, there is a place online called Wholesare batteries that sells all the same batteries we need for much, much cheaper than the suppliers do. This will be my 3rd chair and and my 1st two were Invacare Action Arrow Storms. They are no longer making this chair L I hate change! I went to an evaluation appointment and was told the chair I want (Invacare Torque 3) is considered a Group 4 chair And it would be difficult to get. They recommended a Permobil C350 or Quantum Rival. They told me that an Invacare plant had been shut down by the FDA ( I think that’s right) and their concern is if I got the Invacare they might quit making parts for it. I feel they probably make more $$ off the other two chairs (I just really have trust issues with them) . I have had incredible luck with my Invacare chairs, obviously since 2 have lasted 19 years. What would you recommend? Nicki
