Sorry but that simply is not true, there are several articles on LEM 
debating wether different models of 68k will support 64MB SIMMs. It is 
found that many later machines will actually support certain types of 
64MB SIMM (single sided single banked ??) and even a few selected 128MB 
SIMMs have been found to work. There are a few upgrade companies who 
list these modules for 68k Macs. Th fact Apple Spec says they only take 
32MB modules is neither here nor there :).

BTW if *anyone* knows for certian if 64MB SIMMs can be used in an 840av 
I'd like to know. I'd sure like an 840av with a 200MB RAM disk for 
recording videos :).
