Hello: I just joined the list, so forgive me for asking basic questions:
1. I want to revive a Centris 650 from the dead by running either AUX, MkLinux, or some flavor of BSD. Can anyone recommend the best OS for it? 2. Those upgrades cards from Sonnet, Newer, etc. Do they work with any of the above Unixes? 3. What is the maximum SCSI HD I can put into a Centris 650, given that I want to run any of the above OS on it? 4. Does the Mac itself determines what size of a HD I can put in, or the OS determines that?? 5. Where can I shop for video Ram, RAM, and video cards for this machine?
