Here's another question: I have an OS 8.1 System Folder originally installed on a Power Mac (specifically PB 1400). For reasons too peculiar to relate here, I want to copy it onto the hard drive of a 68k mac (P636 and perhaps LC 575). I have copied the 7.1 and 7.5.5 System folders plenty of times, blessed the system and it works fine. Can I do that with 8.1, and more to the point is there any reason why I should not copy an 8.1 system folder created on a Power Mac onto a 68k?
