Hi, I was given a Quadra 610. I need to turn off the screen saver, it's driving me crazy! Now, I found out that pressing the "shift" key while the machine is booting turns off "extensions." This is all fine and dandy, but I've also learned that you can't do much to configure this After Dark screen saver because the machine says "Please install the application or turn extensions back on." Turning the extensions back on also initializes the screen saver (again) and the password kicks back on.
What's the trick on taking care of this issue? I'm using OS 7.1 (upgrading soon though, which will be my next topic of discussion). Oh yea, I'm comming from a Windows environment too, Macs are a different world. Thanks in advance, Bill -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
