Sometime over the Winter I intend to take the Escort RST engine out of
my Quantum, and try to fit a Peugeot diesel to it instead.

I have the Pug already; it's just a case of finding the time.
Which is not easy when builders are starting a loft conversion next
week, plus we have a new baby which takes an inordinate amount of
attention.

Anyway. Would you be interested in the engine when I finally get around
to removing it?

It's still in the car at the moment, all taxed and insured, so it can be
heard running and is road legal. Although it is temporarily parked at
the top of the garden while the builders are doing their stuff.

I'll be removing the complete setup; ECUs, etc. would be included.
As well as a few spares I bought from Jim a few years ago.
It would be up to you whether you want to fit your Fiesta injection to
it, or keep the Escort stuff.

One difference I should point out is that the Escort has a distributor,
and I don't think there's a facility for a crank pickup for your
Fiesta's EDIS module (unless there's a blanking plate)
I could throw in a pulley from a CVH Sierra which has a timing ring on
it; it might be a good way around the problem.

Or just use it with a dizzy.

I'm still in two minds whether to swap the fuel tank as well; it's a
proper "old Quantum" imported injection tank.
