Thanks Jim

The boat anchor I currently have in the car was originally an S2 RST block
with the CPS hole bored in off a template, so while I know it can be done
(and that part works fine!) it's not something I want to repeat if I don’t
have to

I already have +.5's ready to go with new rings, rods, bolts and crank, the
problem I have is if the old FRST block has already had a rebore, I cant get
hold of +1mm pistons. So I'm hoping it's just a standard high miler that can
take being rebored to .5 and I can stuff the new parts inside what was in
originally.

It's going to be measured this week to see what the options are, so I may
well come back to you on the parts if that’s OK.

Andy

Aren't Fiesta RST +0.5mm pistons silly money ?

I do have some Fiesta RST engine parts, not sure if i still have the
block though and it was a well worn engine.
I also have a bare rebored CVH block and another rebored block with
pistons and crank that has done one race (so i've been told) but it's
standard XR2i not RST pistons.

I have converted a Escort RST block to Fiesta RST spec (drilled the
crank sensor hole) so it can be done.
