Hello, Bit of a strange one but there we go.
H4 fine last monday. Tuesday morning, couldn't get into gear, clutch slipping, couldn't make it up a hill without the clutch slipping. Tuesday night into garage. As its my daily driver i needed it fixed. Wednesday new diesel clutch. Sunday drive to stoneleigh and back car is fine although maybe the clutch wasn't biting but no noticeable slip. Tuesday morning, clutch slipping, no problems with accessing gears and no real slip in 1st or 2nd but if you floor it in 5th it feels like an automatic. Now i will be contacting the garage to get it sorted, but i have a new gearbox with a warrenty and i dont want the garage to touch the gearbox. What could it be?
