Alex,
Had a similar sensation on Colin's coupe and after a while found it
was one front brake caliper partly frozen on. After replacing them
the whole issue disappeared and the brakes are much nicer to use
now :-) They change so gradually you don't notice the stiffening of
the pedal. I had exercised the pistons only a few months before, yet
it still happened. Always look 'outside the box' as well.

blancing weights are still there. Put them back on making sure they
are central and spigot rings are there. With all the wheels done up
took it out. Still above 60 the steering wheel is wobbling all over.
Also now been able to see how it corners at these speeds and the
steering wheel is all over the place so much so i slow down till it
went away.
