Thats only on the coupe, the 2+2 is all standard XR2 parts normally.

I maybe way off here as I can only go by a coupe but the hub carrier on that has the ball joint receiver reamed out to accept the Escort track control arms, obviously this doesn't help with the driveshaft but maybe why the Fiesta ball joint doesn't fit.
