...and it failed, but only just!! Fail points: 1. No VIN Plate indentifying chassis number and manufacturer (my own fault as DVLA had advised one was not needed. so I did not bother, but VOSA want one!)
2. Handbrake failed when tester pulled tight on test./ cable broke at lug on drum brake. and that is all: mixed feelings about being so close, but also very glad as other items were a worry: emissions, noise (98dB on 99dB limit!) brake balance, but all passed. Got some other worries about how stiff the suspension is on near side rear, but this can be resolved once car compelte with IVA and DVLA. Getting there at last.
