Thanks Jim and Luke for the correction on this point. It also caused me to wonder about another cirumstance. Present laws say all cars must be insured all the time unless there is a SORN, however you cannot get a Statutory Off Road Registration unless the car has been registered in the first place. Does a car only become a car (for insurance purposes) after it has been registered? Can you tow a completed but unregistered kit car on public roads? Michael
