My replacement was bought along with some other stuff from Quantum. It's still listed on the Xtreme Spare Parts site (http:// www.quantumcars.co.uk/products/fuel/) as J459 at £7.75. Having driven the car this weekend, it seems I still have a smell on left hand bends, although it is less apparent than before. Could be because the fuel level is now a bit lower though. My next attempt to fit it will involve taking the tub off again, removing the filler cap from the body and attaching it back to the filler pipe and breather, then unstrapping the tank and tipping it down. Should be easier than tipping the car up!
On a more positive note, the replacement LSD is much quieter than the old one. I'll let you know what it was... and hoping for dry weather to continue.
