Thanks BTDT....the car we just brought has this exact problem....I
think you know which one it is....not sure the cover was actually
responsible though at least not from a contact point of view as
there's blistering around the door shuts and above the bulkhead under
the bonnet as well....I seem to recall that some covers "breath" like
GoreTex in that they keep out actual water but let vapor out.....these
blisters are a bit of a mystery though....I'm actually wondering if
it's vapor permeating the fiberglass rather than getting through the
paint as I'm not aware of this being a problem with steel bodies.
