Hi Bill,
If it's a CVH, then the seal is in the oil pump and Haynes don't
recommend trying to fit it in situ. If I remember correctly the pump needs
to come off and that means removing the sump as well.

Hi, can anyone help with the size of the front crankshaft oil seal I
have 35 x 50 x 7 but don't know if this is right. I have to change the
seal before stoneliegh the leak is quite noticable an I get a few
