Having been plagued by brake discs constantly warping on my 2+2 my local mechanic has spent a lot of time investigating and measuring various components. As callipers, pads and discs have been replaced and noting that the offside disc appears to be the one which is warping he has suggested I source a front offside hub assembly. He suggests that the disc/hub may not be entirely parallel to the calliper and therefore the disk is being forced out of alignment.
Question one: Are all the MK2 hubs the same?. Mine is 1.4S based but I can’t see any reference anywhere to there being any difference between the various models. No joy so far in any scrappies over here. Question two: Does anyone have one to sell or know where I could get one?.
