Now, if the front face of the hub wasn’t machined parallel to the
bearings then the disc would wobble as it rotated and i guess that could cause
one section of the disc to get hotter than the other.
But i would expect some amount of vibration even on new discs
Thanks Jim. I think the above is what he means. The last disc was vibrating
on braking within 10 miles of fitting. Even while not braking it feels like
wheels need balancing even though they have just been fitted with new tyres and
balanced.
