I have googled a load more sites using different key words. Found some
more info for those that are interested.
1) The Escort / 4x4 cosworth calipers are single pot floating (pretty much
a larger version of the standard XR2, I believe these will drop pretty much
straight on to the XR hubs.
2) It would seem that the 2wd sierra cosworth has 4 pot calipers but these
will not fit easily without modification. (From what I understand, the
problem with the 2WD option is the disk offset which needs to be
compensated for).
3) The escort RS2000 disks are from the mk4/5 era of Escort, not the
earlier rear wheel drive versions.(The disks are the Mk5 escort RS2000).
4) Are all Mondeo NON ABS servo's the same across the models, or is there
an optimum model/age mondeo to look out for? (I have been following various
threads recently regarding the mondeo servo but wanted clarification).
5) Will this setup with rear disks require a front/rear bias valve, or is
it O.K. to leave the standard MK2 fiesta valves in place?
I am quite comfortable with the wheel ends of the brakes now, just need to
understand the Mondeo servo donor.
I guess a try it and see approach will clarify point 5!
Cheers Guys.
