There’s a whole load of gumpf knocking about on the net regarding the conversion
in short i had a base spec starting point so all i had to do was elongate two of the holes for the fiesta servo brackets since they are in a diamond formation and the mondeo unit square (the difference is minimal) other than that i made an adjustable clevis to bring the transfer bar in line with the servo pushrod if you use the XR2 spec servo brackets you need to elongate the holes as above but also cut and weld the brackets in a V shape to lower down the servo reservoir to prevent the fluid running low that’s a very basic run down but some more info is here http://www.xrtwo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=104485&p=1112859#p1112859 On Jul 17, 2:56 pm, "Jim Hearne" <[email protected]> wrote: > It is bigger, i think people move the brackets and shorten the transfer bar. > > Jim > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: TonyV > Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2012 2:51 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Quantum Owners] Re: Brake upgrade for 2+ > > I've already removed the calipers, servo and master cylinder from my Endura > donor, in preparation for a similar upgrade on my saloon. > > I'm a bit concerned about the size of the servo.
