Hi, can anyone please advise on the following?

I would like to mount a couple of 12" speakers into the upright section of
where the rear seats would normally be in my 2+2. The holes for the
speakers would be circular in shape and therefore have no square edges,
(which would tend to introduce points of stress and potential crack
propagation points).

My question is, would cutting these two holes adversely affect the
structural rigidity of the body shell. If so, if I were to put some
strengthening braces on the inside (in the space between the boot and the
cabin) would this be sufficient to retain the rigidity of the shell.

Many thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Keith
