Hello everyone,

It looks like you are correct in your assertions that the wire goes onto 
the alternator. I was refered to a very useful picture of what looks like 
the back of the alternator, Kitty ( Q2-098 ) is going into the garage for 
some other work to be done on Friday morning so I will ask them to attach 
the errant wire as suggested. I will let you know how I get on.
