I'm afraid the Escort part is completely different.

Watch out though as it's very common for the holes to wear where the tie
bars go through.

engine back into my quantum and I can't figure out this
alternator. I can get the alternator in fitted but I can't get the
belt to tension as the alternator hits on the stabilizer bar
mounting thing that bolts to the frame at the bottom. The belt
looks really short but can I get a shorter one. Not sure what to
do. Do any of you guys have the measurement for how long the belt
should be.
