Unfortunately - when I tried this - the movie is rendered very
quickly - not in real time - and my audio modulations are completely
ignored.
That is to say, the movie is rendered as if there was no audio
present at the audio input.
It would have been nice if it would have rendered the video and
grabbed the audio and saved them as a QTmovie.
I suppose I should file a feature request.

This just creates a quicktime shell file, if you will, that just
tells Quicktime to play the quartz composer file for a certain
amount of time at a certain set of dimensions. Now, if you have
Quicktime Pro, you can export this file yet again into any video
format or quality that you want. Hope this helps!
