what will that do? I also had this problem and had a comp crash in front of 250 people :-/. when I rang Apple tech support next day we rebuilt permissions and cleared out the library/caches/ folder and all the problems seemed to go away. haven't used much since but all the BS with not being able to save documents without duplicating and saving to a USB drive stopped
