Basically the pitch or volume of a note is taken up and down quickly. It's
like that vibrato you hear with flutes, or violins. In midi, it can be set
from none at all to way too much. And it applies for all instruments too,
even pianos!

Actually, they do support pitch bend and modulation if I remember
rightly.
I've tried pitch bend out, and it works. What does modulation do?
