Dear R-sig-phylo community,

We are happy to announce the arrival of geomorph
v.2.0<http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/geomorph/>for
*R* - a package for analysis of 2D/3D landmark data using
geometric morphometric tools. Of interest to the R-sig-phylo community are
a suite of analysis tools for *assessing phylogenetic comparative patterns
in high-dimensional data*. Currently these include:

1: estimating and comparing multivariate rates of phenotypic evolution on
phylogenies

2: estimating phylogenetic signal using a multivariate generalization of
Kappa

3: evaluating multivariate covariation in a phylogenetic context
(phylogenetic partial least squares)

4: visualizing phylomorphospace

Any questions or comments, please contact us on our
blog<http://www.geomorph.net/p/comments.html>
.

 Thank you,

Emma
