Dear all,

there is only 1 seat available for the Physalia online course on Bayesian Data
Analysis in R, which will take place next week (March 3rd-7th).

Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course46
]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course46/ )

This course offers a hands-on introduction to Bayesian data analysis in R,
designed to build your confidence in using Bayesian methods for common
applications.
Through practical examples and exercises, the participants will:

          1. become familiar with the basics of Bayesian inference,

          2. be able to fit a range of regression models with several
likelihood functions,

          3. be able to fit several robust models and distributional models,

         4. know how to select priors for their models using prior predictive
checks,

         5. know how to assess the descriptive accuracy of a model using
posterior predictive checks, and

        6. know how to express their posterior distributions as effect sizes
and informative figures.

Format: Daily live sessions (2–6 PM Berlin time) with theoretical lectures and
interactive coding exercises.
