You’ll explore how diversity patterns vary across space and time, and learn to address common sampling challenges using powerful R tools and packages. By the end of the course, participants will be able to: Access and clean biodiversity occurrence data from major databases (GBIF, PBDB, IUCN). Analyse biodiversity patterns across spatial and temporal scales. Visualise biodiversity data and estimate diversification rates using appropriate R tools. Integrate palaeontological and neontological datasets for comprehensive biodiversity analysis.
