Dear all,

We are pleased to announce our upcoming online course: PHYLOGENOMICS

Dates: 1–5 December

Course website: [
https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/phylogenomics/ ](
https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/phylogenomics/ )

This course will introduce participants to the theory and practice of
phylogenetic inference and divergence-time estimation using genome-scale
datasets. Topics include model selection, gene-tree discordance, species-tree
inference under the multispecies coalescent, and detection of introgression and
gene flow.
Each day includes a mix of lectures and hands-on exercises using preconfigured
cloud environments (no installation required), with opportunities to analyze
example datasets and interpret results.
The course is aimed at researchers at the PhD/postdoc level who are planning to
perform phylogenomic analyses with little or no prior experience.

Feel free to share this announcement with colleagues or students who may be
interested.
Best regards,

Carlo
