Well, Boxing Day dawned overcast, and I got the shock of my life as
a cloud parted and exposed a speck of blue sky. However, it's back
to normal with a heavy blanket of dark cloud hanging low over the
city skyline. I can see the top of the skytower, though, which is
good news!
Auckland weather is notoriously difficult to predict with four
seasons in one day a frequent occurance. So I'll stick with the Met
Service prediction of fine periods after lunch. There has been
minimal rain over the past 24hrs, so the track should be near enough
to firm by mid-afternoon.
