I've never done that .... I backed one for a place once because George Simon
recommended it for third and because it was paying $15 for a place and it
came second and very nearly won ... That made my heart skip a few beats ...
The biggest winner I ever backed and I backed it at 10ew and only because
Maree Lyndon was riding it paid $49 for a win. I did quite well by following
Maree Lyndon ... So well in fact that I named my youngest daughter Maree
....  And as far as I know Maree Lyndon ended up being a dairy farmer ....
What a waste ....... Muz
