I was suspicious of the facts in the National Review article. I even "Snooped" it, but it hadn't made it to Snopes.com.

It was published under his name, with his approval and with him listed as its editor. The taped interview just confirms the obvious. The genuine Paul apostles don't give a rat's behind about the facts. They're going to defend him under any circumstances regardless of any evidence, even as they concoct conspiracy theories about and assign dark, but hidden beliefs and designs to every other candidate. That's fine. About five-percent or so of any major party consists of people so nuts they could serve as minor decorations on a Carmen Miranda hat. The more frightening thing is that he should be pulling around 20 percent in Iowa and 10 percent or better in the national polls. That means a larger segment of the GOP vote than I would care to contemplate is either hunky-dory with a candidate who consorts with 9-11 truthers and other sick, wack-jobs, or is absymally unaware of the man's poisonous associations, published swill and truly disturbing past statements and actions. It is good to see that conservative media is finally, and belatedly, beginning to do the due diligence is should have done all along. The letters are a problem, whether he wrote them or not, was he the editor? There is much more that concerns me, today I read at Hot Air that RP endorsed Cynthia McKinney in 2008? Really? Should any candidate be taken seriously who exercises that kind of judgment. "Cynthia McKinney is also next door to being a communist in terms of her domestic policy. McKinney is an open and avowed enemy of free market capitalism, preferring instead Ghadaffi-style socialism. Seriously, she literally and openly favors dictatorial socialism.
