In the end, I think there's this current of indignation that flows through a subsect of the population which believes that the advancement of one race to the starting line pushes the previously favored race back. The indignation has to go before we can move from a racial view of society to an individualist view. As Marcus Aurelius said, "get rid of the judgement, get rid of the 'I am hurt,' you are rid of the hurt itself." As has been discussed earlier in the thread, this is where Ron Paul betrayed his own ideology.
