Fascinating. I thought we were discussing MLK’s activism, which we both admire. 
Are you saying you DO consider his approach suicidal, since it got him killed?

Or are you disagreeing with my interpretation that the core of his method of 
non-violence involved training people to overcome the desire for revenge?

So how about Kingsian politics?  MLK wasn’t trying to convert people to 
Christianity. He was both preaching and practicing Christian virtue to create 
political and social change. 

Would you have considered that a fool’s errand, before he succeeded?  Or do you 
think he actually failed?
