I get all I need in a remote from iPeng. If the SB Radio came standard with a remote and battery at a list price of $249.99, then I could see the point that the Logitech did not want to sell items separately. However, since they are, then the battery and remote should be sold separately. Anyway, the battery will be good for a back-up to my alarm if I have a power failure -- But only when Logitech fixes the bug when the back-up alarm DOES NOT trigger if my internet connection is down.
